Knowledge encompasses both spiritual and material aspects of human formation. Quran has established knowledge as the basis for the healthy progress of human beings. Allama Iqbal values education alongside spiritual upbringing since both systems of education are intertwined. His theory of education is the same as the theory of education in Islam. This research investigates the enduring significance of Allama Iqbal's educational philosophy within the context of contemporary Muslim education. Employing a descriptive methodology, it draws on extensive literature reviews, primary texts of Allama Iqbal, and pertinent research materials to unveil Iqbal's profound insights into education and their relevance today. Iqbal's central tenet, "Khudi" or self-realization, underscores the belief that every individual possesses innate potential from Allah, and true leadership emanates from their realization. Iqbal's philosophy aligns with Islamic principles, emphasizing the holistic nature of education, encompassing both spiritual and material dimensions, and recognizing knowledge as the cornerstone of human progress. His era spotlighted the Muslim community's educational neglect as a primary cause of decline, and through his ideas, he reignited a passion for knowledge, critical thinking, and progress. In contemporary terms, it is imperative to bridge the schism between traditional and modern educational systems, underpinning curricula with Islamic literary principles, ensuring gender equality, and instating transparent examination processes. This study culminates in a call to action, urging the reformation of educational systems to foster ethical growth, equal access, academic integrity, and a vibrant culture of knowledge-seeking and innovation among today's youth.
