Abstract

Iqbal’s philosophy of life can be enclosed in a single word i.e. Khudi. In what sense has Iqbal used the word Khudi? What is the relationship between Khudi and Muslim Ummah? What sort of individuality is achieved in this world and next by protecting Khudi? This research article consists of three parts. What is Khudi, Khudi and Muslim Ummah, the reward of adopting Khudi and disadvantages of abandoning it? We will see in this research article what are the elements of self-training that the Muslim Ummah has turned away from collectively and what are the elements of personal training from which the Muslim Ummah has fallen victim to the crisis of Khudi.
